Monday we had yet to go to the grocery store and so after Evelyn went to bed Jason decided to go get what we would need for the week. I had a few cravings and told Jason what to get sugar cookies being among them. Now I didn't want him to go crazy so I asked for one from the bakery thinking that it would be best and I would be happy. He came home with some of the wrong stuff - I tried to hide my disappointment but may not have done a good job. He ended up getting Pillsbury sugar cookie dough (which does not produce the sugar cookie that I wanted - not that I didn't eat them). It wasn't until tonight that I found out why I got the Pillsbury instead of Wegman's bakery.
He had tried the bakery first. walked up to the counter and saw a lady in the back leaning up against the table and asked about the sugar cookies...
"we are out" she said
"but you can't be out, aren't any in the back" he said
"I'm sorry I don't have any more"
"I have a pregnant wife at home who wants sugar cookies. I can't go home with out sugar cookies - do you know what will happen if I do?!"
"Yeah I know" (at this point she stands up and J notices that she is VERY PREGNANT!)
I'm pretty sure he slinked off and had a good laugh once he found the Pillsbury cookies :)

Tubes
It is official Evelyn is getting tubes. I'm a bit nervous. the good news is that it is THIS weekend so I only have 5 days to worry. Dr M squeezed us in this weekend though he was not supposed to add another patient (I'm so thankful). I'm glad he is still in practice as I trust him - had it been another doctor I probably would insist on a secound opinion despite the fact that I knew she needs it after she has had at least 5 infections in her year of life two of which needed a secound course of antibiotics, and the fact that she always has fluid in her ear. Having her be fit in so quickly is nice because I've been worrying about this since I thought she needed it. So sat morning I take her to the hospital with J she will be asleep for 15 min, the procedure will take about 4 min - super easy; we can do this.

Eating
Ok I have totally become a food hoarder. I constantly eat it started during my pregnancy with Evelyn and has NOT stopped. Which means that I have to have food where ever I go. I always seem to have some form of fruit at lest two boxes of crackers, canned soup, oatmeal, chocolate, and cheese (in our fridge) and I am constantly bringing in more food. I am hoping that eventually I will be able to stop this hoarding behavior because it is annoying to not be able to go far with out food... I think I am gaining weight a little faster this time but I had massive weight loss right before the pregnancy so I don't know if this is trying to equalize that as well as the pregnancy weight or if it is just the pregnancy weight and I should be concerned. I figure I'll let it go unless I start gaining too much then I will worry but my taste for sweets seems to be leveling off and going away (I hope) so that will help too.

It's hard to keep up
with a blog when you go to bed at 8pm. I will try to do better... if only my energy would come back I really miss it. This weekend I was going to go to the gym and my dear husband told me I looked exhausted and needed a nap more than a work out. I suppose I must have been because I didn't argue I just crawled into bed and tried to sleep. I feel like such a sloth.
Soon my energy will come back soon.
Soon my energy will come back soon.
